Our parent lab, Legacy Digital Productions, converted Steven Spielberg’s childhood films for the documentary Spielberg, and the family’s personal video tapes for Netflix’s Lucy and Desi. Your reels go through the same hands and the same machines.

1 · Intake
Every item is logged by hand and tracked under a full chain of custody from the moment it arrives.
2 · Inspect
Condition is assessed before anything runs. Damage found early is damage that does not get worse.
3 · Scan
Captured on Academy grade equipment, at true HD 1080p minimum and up to 2K for film.
4 · Return
Files on a flash or hard drive, and your originals back in the same shipment. Always.
Pricing, before you ask
What it actually costs.
Film is billed by footage actually transferred, $0.28 per foot at the Gold tier, with a $50 service minimum. Condition work (shrinkage, splice repair, cleaning) is quoted per element after inspection, never averaged into the rate.
